I finished the lecture on Luther, Calvin, Henry/Elizabeth, and the Anabaptists. We had time for three students to teach the class about their chosen Renaissance artwork. On Tuesday many of your will teach.
Students read Chapter 1.1, taking notes on the following topics:
Students took the test over Chapters 18 & 19 today: three essays and a map of Europe. There are no assignments over the long weekend. See you Tuesday as we begin our study of the Renaissance and Reformation.
We finished watching the film about the rise of China and students finished answering questions on the accompanying handout. We reviewed for the Chapters 18 & 19 test by writing practice essays based on questions in a PowerPoint review, which can be downloaded from Downloads page.
Students are watching a National Geographic documentary on the economic rise of China, answering questions as they watch. We discussed a few of the topics and scenes in the film and will finish it on Tuesday.
