We discussed the origins of the Cold War in a PowerPoint lecture. Students spent the last part of class answering questions based on Chapter 17.1. Be sure to study for the quiz tomorrow over Chapter 17.1 & 2 and the Cold War map of Europe.

Today we examined the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, bring WWII to an end. Tomorrow we will begin learning how the Cold War grew out of WWII. Students then worked on their map of Europe in the Cold War. We watched the CNN Student News at the end of class. Plan on a quiz over 17.1-2 on Thursday.
Check this blog to see what we did in class. If you miss class, read this before asking your teacher what we did. I will occasionally put extra credit questions on the blog. Please email me with any questions about class.
Best wishes for success in this and all your classes. |
