ANCESTRY PROJECTThe Ancestry Project is the major project during the 2nd semester of World History. he project will culminate in April/May, 2019, with your completed research paper, poster, newspaper and class presentation.

Essay - Roots of American Government: Enlightenment Ideas in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Write a 1-2 page essay identifying the ideas of people such as Locke and Voltaire in the U.S. government. Use the chart on page 186 as a starting point. You should reference ideas discussed in class and in the primary source documents we studied together. A printed copy is due by Friday, January 25. Test Chapter 7 French Revolution & Napoleon. Chapter 9 The Industrial Revolution Child Labor in the Industrial Revolution Assignment Child Labor Then and Now Students: bring your laptops and tablets to class on Wednesday-Friday for this assignment. This is a two-part assignment. You will read primary source documents online, then summarize what you learn, as described below. Please print both parts and turn in by Wednesday, 27 February.
