Students took an 11 point quiz over Chapter 9.1 We began a two part research assignment which will look at child labor in Great Britain during the Industrial Revolution and child labor today. To introduce the topic, I read the class part of an article in the LA Times about child laborers in Bangladesh, who work on beaches where large commercial vessels are broken apart for scrap metal. Instructions for the first part of this assignment are on the Home page. Students read from online sources and began completing this today.
